Summer’s Almost Gone (2010-2012) is a project located in Southern China, the place where I grew up. Contemplating the landscapes and everyday objects, I apply metaphor and imagination in these images of mundane life, the result of which is an intertwining of physical space and spiritual world. My goals in this project are to rebuild the spiritual and mnemonic connection with my birthplace and to search for beauty and poetic grace in ordinary life.
